Michael was extremely dedicated and proud of his family. He loved spending time with them and always made family a priority. He was a wonderful gracious husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and man. Michael made an impression on everyone he met and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandson, Joshuah. Survived by his wife Concepcion, children and their spouses Steven (Lea), Tara (Tony), and Michael Jr. (Jennifer), grandchildren, Taylor, Alexandra, Michelle, Elena, Madeline, Collin, Andrew, and Emily, great grandchildren Jayden and Nikolas.
Michael was an Air Force Veteran who served from 1956 – 1961. His love of God and Country continued until his passing. He was a world traveler and his love of travel began while stationed in Spain, where Michael met his wife. He had a long successful career and good fortune to retire twice, both communication companies, US West and Ericsson Communications. Michael was an avid golfer who played several times a week with a group of unforgettable men (you know who you are).
This quote found written in one of Michael’s personal notebooks, demonstrates his love of God and Country-
“Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you. Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your Soul, the other for your Freedom.” - Sgt. Dennis O’Brien, USMC
