Michael Guest

Michael Guest, 63 of Westminster, Colorado, died on July 3rd, 2021, with his family by his side. 

He was born May 29th in Zanesville, Ohio and moved to Arvada, CO in 1960. He graduated high school from Arvada West in 1976. In September 1989, he married his wife, Deborah. 

Mike and Debbie lived in Arvada, Colorado until 2005 and then moved to Westminster along with their daughter, Lauren. 

Mike was loving, caring and loyal. He had the biggest heart; he loved animals and loved reading his bible. Mike was so dedicated to God and his faith. He always put others first, especially his family!

Mike was an outdoorsman who loved to go boating, fishing and camping with friends and family. He loved nothing more than spending all his time with his family and grandkids-whether that was playing board games, yardsaling, or just watching funny videos!

He loved going on family vacations to South Dakota, Alamosa, and California. He loved the color orange, the #3, and rainbow trout. He was such a people person and would talk to anyone, he could turn a nickel into a dollar in a heartbeat! 

He worked in customer service for many years and was very proud of it. He was a former forklift mechanic for many years until he retired in 2016. 

Prior to retirement In 2014, Mike would become the humble recipient of a Liver Transplant, which became a proud feat for him and his family to cherish the gift of organ and tissue donation.

In 2015, Mike and Debbie took their very first cruise to Alaska and it meant everything to him.

He is survived by his sweetheart, Deborah, and their daughter Lauren Pruitt and her husband, Cody, and his grand-babies Carter and Kadence Pruitt. 

He is survived by his mother, MaryJane Guest, his sisters; MaryJo Allen, and Melinda Newman. His nephews; Christopher Allen, Adam Newman & Michael Newman and many, many dear friends. 

Mike's Liturgy will be held on Friday, July 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Lutheran Church of Hope in Broomfield. A viewing will take place from 1:30 until the start of service. The Liturgy will be live-streamed here for those who are unable to make it.
