On June 8th, 2021, our beautiful daughter Lauren went home to be with the Lord.
Lauren was born on April 23, 1991, in Denver Colorado. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Colorado State University in 2013. She had numerous jobs in her short working life. A true free spirit; we lovingly referred to her as a gypsy.
She loved camping and fishing and had all her own fishing gear, but her favorite place in the world was Red Rocks Amphitheater where she saw many concerts. In addition to being a great writer, she was a talented artist and photographer. Lauren loved deeply, especially when it came to animals and she was loved so, so much by her family.
Lauren is survived by her parents, Brian and Tammy Heil, her brother Christian Heil and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette, Colorado on Wednesday, June 16th at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Lauren's name the Humane Society or animal-supportive charity of your choice.
-Life-
For what it's worth it's never too late, or in my case too early, to be whatever you want to be. There's no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or worst of it. I hope you see things that startle you.
I hope you feel things you never felt before.
I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you're not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.
