Devra M. Sharp

Devra Marie Sharp passed away suddenly on November 8, 2022 at her home in Denver, Colorado. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 5, 1982, to parents Deni Humphreys Neel and Robert Neel.

Devra received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from The University of Oklahoma in 2007. She began her illustrious career with Aetna as a senior brand advisor. Devra moved on to Cigna and was currently a Sponsorship Marketing Senior Advisor. She developed a passion for sports sponsorships and partnerships, most recently leading marquis programming at The Super Bowl and The Masters. As a colleague, Devra was not only a dedicated, kind and trusted advisor- she was a warm and empathetic leader.

Devra moved to Denver, Colorado in 2014, where she met the love of her life, Korey, in June of 2015. They married November 3, 2018, in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Estes Park, Colorado. Their life together has been filled with love, adventure and so much laughter.  

Devra was a devoted daughter to Deni and the light of Deni’s life. She had the most amazing wit which would have all in stitches for hours on end. Her thoughtfulness and huge heart will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Devra is survived by her loving husband Korey, her mother, Deni Humphreys Neel, her father, Robert, and her step-mother, LouAnn Neel. She is survived by her brothers; Matthew and Austin, Grandfather Richard (Noisy) Neel, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

She is preceeded in death by her grandparents, Felton and Marianne Humphreys, and Mary Neel.

A funeral and Celebration of Life for Devra will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Grove Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. Her interment will follow the service on the same grounds and all are welcome to join. A recording of the service will be made available here soon. Please continue to check back
