Patrick W. Kieffe

Patrick Kieffe, 78, passed away at his Broomfield, Colorado home on April 27, 2019. He was born August 30, 1940 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Francis and Opal Kieffe. The family moved to Nebraska in 1947 to work the family farm. Pat graduated from St. Cecilia High School in 1958. He married Judy Payne and he joined the Air Force. They had two children, Richard (Rick) P. and Angelia. After the Air Force, Pat earned a degree in math and physics from Hastings College.

He met his second wife, Sharon Kreutz, and adopted her son, Scott.  Throughout his life, Pat worked in computer technology as senior engineer with various companies until his retirement from IBM. Pat is survived by his son, Rick (Brenda) and their twin boys, Alexander and Richard; daughter, Angelia (Dennis) Sawyers and their children, Heather (Tim) Guertin and David (Midori); son Scott (Debby) and Scott's son, William; and one sister, Cathy. He also had 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wives, Judy and Sharon and his parents.

On Friday, May 3, at Nativity of Our Lord, Broomfield, Colorado, a rosary will be held at 10:30, visitation following and an 11:30 mass. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska at 11 am. Memorials may be sent to his church, Nativity of Our Lord.
