Erica Brunson

Erica Brunson, 46, passed away on October 17, 2019 and joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven.

Erica Brunson was born in Los Angeles, California on August 12, 1973. She grew up and lived in West Covina, California for the majority of her life and then moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where she met, fell in love with, and married Mical Brunson on New Year’s Eve in 2006. Also in Louisiana, Erica had her two sons, Colin and Gaven. She worked passionately as a Make Up Artist in the Film and Television industry for 11 years as a member of the IATSE Local 798.

Erica is preceded in death by her father James Berg, father-in-law Lane Brunson, and grandparents, Leopoldo and Petra Ureta. 

Erica is survived by her husband Mical Brunson, her two sons Colin and Gaven, her mother Maria Berg, father and mother-in-law Marvin and Eunice Ripp; Aunts Norma Ureta, Aida Ureta, Martha Padilla, Leticia Logan, and Cathi Sheets; Uncle Martin Ureta and wife Sylvia; and numerous cousins. 

Pallbearers will be Brian Bueno, Baudy Bueno, Jorge Ureta, Martin Ureta, Alfredo Logan, and Eduardo Logan

A visitation, Rosary, and Mass will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church on October 26, 2019 starting at 1:00 pm.

Burial services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Broomfield Commons Cemetery with a deacon from Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, officiating.
