Abby Davies

Mortuary Science Practitioner

Abby was born and raised in Austin, Texas where she began her career in customer service at the age of 16, through various restaurant jobs. She graduated from Westwood High School in 2016. Abby moved out to Littleton, Colorado the following summer to pursue her calling in the funeral industry. She enrolled in Arapahoe Community College accredited Mortuary Science program and graduated in August of 2020. She passed the National Board Exams shortly thereafter, obtaining her title as Mortuary Service Practitioner. Abby is a first generation funeral director with a true passion to provide services that will leave lasting and healing memories for the families that she has the opportunity of working with. During her downtime, she enjoys cooking, painting, tending to her many plants, cuddling with her fur babies, and creating handmade jewelry for others to enjoy.

Kelsi Tesone Mathews

Kelsi Tesone Mathews

Mortuary Science Practitioner

Kelsi graduated from Broomfield High School in 2006 and immediately went into the accredited Mortuary Science Program at ACC. She graduated in 2008 on a Presidential Scholarship with her AAS in Mortuary Science. She passed The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards where she earned her title as MSP. Kelsi started as a Funeral Director and Embalmer for a small family funeral firm, went on to work for an Organ Procurement Agency, and eventually settled back in her passion as Funeral Director.

In October 2017, Kelsi saw a need for more choices in her community and started In Memoriam. She holds her PreNeed license in Colorado and continues to self-police and advocate for Funeral Professionals across the state by actively running The Denver Metro Funeral Directors Association and sitting on the Advisory Committee for the Mortuary College.

Her official title is Mortuary Science Practitioner, which means she is a Funeral Director and Embalmer. She is here to support, educate, and continuously raise the bar higher for death-care practices. To say she loves her work is an understatement. She loves her babies, the beach, good music, and good food!

Santiago Mathews

Funeral Director

Santiago Mathews, Funeral Director, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He spent his whole childhood in various countries in South America, most notably, Peru. Santiago and Kelsi met through a mutual friend when she was in Mortuary School and he has been by her side ever since and it's safe to say he found this role to be a title he is utterly passionate for. He is not only a Funeral Director and Cremation Technician, but involved in the daily management of the funeral home. There is nothing he can't fix around the home and keeps the interior and exterior of the facility pristine. In his spare time he enjoys watching UFC, working out, and being a wonderful father.
