Zachary “Zach” John Vigil was born on Friday June 1st, 2001 and entered the Kingdom of Heaven at the young age of 23 on Tuesday October 8th, 2024.
As an only child, Zach, also known as Zeeky, was loved fiercely by his parents, Sue and the late Audie Vigil. He was born in Denver, Colorado and lived most of his life in Henderson, Colorado.
Zach made an instant impact on everyone who met him and on thousands who never will. Although he appeared to be quiet and reserved, once he felt comfortable, he was a jokester that loved to laugh. He gave the best hugs and had the biggest, most contagious smile. Some would say he was a bit of a flirt as winking was one of his ways of showing affection. Another was giving a thumbs up, which was his signature move since birth. Zach was very animated at expressing his emotions which would cause everyone around him to smile. He was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed by many.

Although his life was short, Zach enjoyed countless things. To name a few, fishing and hunting with his uncles, skateboarding and gaming with his friends, and listening to music. Zach played football and wrestled but his real love was Jujitsu which he participated in with his Dad. He was the State Champion in his Jujitsu weight class for 2 years and earned multiple trophies and metals.

Zach had a variety of jobs, but his favorite was working at Chick-fil-a with his cousins, where he often expressed his playfulness as the Chick-fil-a Cow. Zach had aspirations of pursuing a career in Cybersecurity as an Analysist. He was researching different programs and had a scholarship lined up thru the Salvation Army where he lived in a Christian sober house. Zach was fighting a substance abuse addiction that eventually took his life. Had he overcome his addiction, he was interested in helping others through the recovery process.

Zach was taken way too soon from those who loved him. He is finally at peace with his Dad in Heaven and will live on in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace Zeeky until we meet again.
