William D. Kerwin, born August 9, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Madaline Kerwin.

Married Carol Wolfe in Ottawa, Illinois on December 1, 1956.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, collector of samurai swords, and gardener.  He was a master plumber and had previously owned Broomfield Plumbing & Heating and Kerwin Plumbing & heating, both of which he and his wife started. 

Survivors are his wife of 69 years, Carol, children Kathleen (Dan) Kleeman, William (Terrry) Kerwin, Kelly DiMasi (Bruce Larrabee), and Elizabeth (Tom) McBride, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild  A Mass will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church on December 18.
