William J. Pepperdine

William "Will" John Pepperdine was born in Lawrence, Kansas, in 2001 with the biggest heart. He was the perfect child. He loved his family, adored his sisters, and loved making friends. He was smart as a whip. Funny and brilliant. Somewhere, somehow that great big heart of his was hurt, and he couldn’t make it better.  No one could, it seemed. We tried so hard to help him, always hoping he would find peace and joy again, to be free of the substances he used to forget or escape the pain. Unfortunately, he lost that struggle on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in Westminster, Colorado. We hope he is free now. We hope he feels joy again.

We hope he is at peace and understands the deep love we will always have for him.

He leaves behind his parents, Carrie and John Jr.; and two sisters, Josie and Leah; along with his grandparents, John Hoffmann, and, Mary Jo and John Pepperdine Sr., and many aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, JoEllyn Hoffmann.

We ask that any gifts go to support the United Church of Broomfield to recognize its unwavering and vocal support of creating a welcoming and non judgemental place for all, even those struggling through life.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 Monday at the United Church of Broomfield, 825 Kohl St. Please don't wear black. Will always said he didn't want everyone dressed in black at his funeral.

We are amazed at the outpouring of love, prayers, and kindness. So much so we may exceed the church capacity.
