Taytum Hunter-Bullock

Taytum Ann Hunter-Bullock was born February 22, 2023 at St. Joseph’s hospital in Denver, Colorado, to her parents Lauren Kylie Hunter and Joseph Frank Bullock. She was born at 25 weeks and 2 days gestational age weighing only 1lb and 4 oz. She was a tiny but mighty fighter. All of her NICU nurses and doctors appreciated her feistiness and her iron will. She overcame many obstacles within her stay in the NICU, including pneumonia and sepsis. With being born so early, her lungs were underdeveloped and her main struggle was chronic lung disease. She fought everyday to keep breathing and growing. She loved hearing new songs, reading new books, cuddles with her mom and dad and she touched many hearts.

On May 13th, 2023 at 5pm Taytum joined the angels in Heaven. Her chronic lung disease had become too much for her little body to handle, and she had minimal working lung tissue. She passed away peacefully in her mom and dads arms, surrounded by her family. Although Taytums spirit is no longer bound by her body, she lives through her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and everyone else graced by her.

She is survived by her mom Lauren Kylie Hunter, her dad Joseph Frank Bullock, her grandparents Donnalynn and Thomas Hunter, and Frank Bullock, her aunts and uncles Thomas Hunter, Taylor Hunter, Alexandria Hunter, Tanner Hunter, Nicholas Hunter, and Abigail Bullock. She is with her grandmother Laurie Bullock in Heaven.

Taytum made all of her loved ones beyond proud and she is a true blessing. She brought many people together and everyone connected to her was touched my her strength and courage. Her spirit will continue to inspire the people who loved her.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 25th, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette. Her service will begin promptly at 9:45 a.m. and will be live-streamed here. Please check back for links and reception details.
