Soni left us too soon on October 29th, 2020 at the age of 50. She passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning of no apparent cause. In her brief time with us, she touched many lives with her loving and generous heart. We will always remember her smiling face
Soni was born in the state of Punjab in India and raised in Canada. She moved to Baton Rouge, USA in 1992, where she met her future husband, Parag. They married in 2002, welcomed son, Rohin, in 2006 and daughter, Suhana, in 2010. Soni is also survived by her parents (Sewa Singh and Gurdeep Kaur Sanan), sister (Mohny Bhullar), brother (Kamal Sanan) and a tight-knit family of uncles, aunties and cousins. On her journey, she also picked up a huge extended family of friends, whose lives were touched by her selfless friendship and generous love. Her unexpected departure leaves all her loved ones shocked and devastated. She led us with the light of a loving heart. Let’s carry this light in our lives and pass on the selfless love.
Have a glass of red in Soni’s memory. She will toast us back from the Good Place.
