Scott D. Brookhart Obituary

God saw you were getting tired,

And a cure was not to be.

So He put his arms around you,

And whispered, "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer,

And saw you fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

Scott David Brookhart, age 68 of Broomfield, Colorado, passed away January 7th, 2024. He was born on July 28th, 1955, in Celina, Ohio, to Marjorie Marie (Smith) Brookhart and Winston Merl Brookhart.

Scott was a 1974 graduate of Celina Senior High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he was a small arms repairman. After leaving the Army with the rank of Sergeant, he was employed by a private company in Saudi Arabia as a small arms repair instructor for their Army. When he returned to the United States in 1980, he moved to the Denver, Colorado area to attend gunsmithing school. Scott also drove semi trucks in Ohio and Colorado.

While in Colorado, Scott not only fell in love with the mountains, but also met and fell in love with his wife Janet Jensen. Together Scott and Janet started and grew a successful small dental supply company, AllPro, Inc. They celebrated 35 years of marriage in 2023.

Scott was an avid collector of guns and enjoyed shooting. He loved the Rocky Mountains and was always eager and happy to take visitors “up into the hills” as he would say. He also traveled the world and was a huge movie buff and lover of the cinema.

He is survived by his wife Janet (Jensen) Brookhart, Broomfield, CO, brother Stephen (Tracy) Brookhart, Rockford, OH, sister Lisa (Daniel) Davis, Celina, OH, sister Stefanie (Terry) Davis, Celina, OH, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his father, mother, and a brother, Bruce Brookhart.
