Robert Richard Schuur Sr., was known to many as "Bob", while others knew him as "Tow Truck". He was 81 yrs old when he passed away in Lakewood, CO on May 18, 2021.
Bob was born in Worthington, MN on June 18, 1939 to Chris Schuur & Maybelle Egglestin. He had 5 sisters & brothers: Barbara Byers of Lodi, OH; Darlene Sinnett of Denver, CO; John Meier of Salem, NE; Leonard Meier of Denver, CO & Nancy Timothy of Salem, NE. He had many nieces & nephews.
He drove trucks for a living, however he later became Mechanic & Tow Truck Driver. He & his first wife Nina owned " Schuur's Towing".
Bob met Nina in Wadsworth, OH. They were married on 07/04/1960. Between them they had 7 children: Gene Arnold of Denver, CO; Deborah Davis of Denver, CO; VaLinda
Borago of Loveland, CO; John Selogy of Banks Tacoma, WA; Nina Schuur of Denver, CO; Robert 'Bobby" Schuur Jr. of Murphysboro, IL & Randy Schuur of Murphysboro, IL.
Bob married Annette Hilton in 2010. They lived in Hillrose, CO. From his marriage to Annette, he had a step daughter Tracey Hanson, a granddaughter & a great grandson.
Tow Truck loved helping people, working on cars, going fishing & riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Tow Truck knew & was known by many motorcycle club/brotherhood members. Mainly the # "1'" brotherhood of which he has been a member of for many years.
Bob was survived by his sister Nancy, his children & step children Deborah, VaLinda, John, Tracey, Nina & his son in-law Troy Mackey.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, his siblings, his wife Nina, his wife Annette, his son's Gene, Bobby & Randy. Also by his granddaughters, Brandi Mae & Jeannie Mae.
No matter if you knew him by "Robert", 'Bob" or "Tow Truck", he will truly be missed by many.
There will be no services held at this time due to the causes of his passing & Covid 19.
