Raymond A. Salazar Obituary

Raymond Angelo Salzar or Sandy Randy (as his friends called him) of Thornton and Loveland Colorado, was born in Thornton Colorado. On Friday, February 23rd, 2001, and he left this beautiful Earth far too soon on Wednesday, June 11th 2025.

Raymond made an unforgettable impact on all who knew him. He was known for his big heart, relentless work ethic, and the joy he brought to those around him. Whether he was working hard, gaming, or simply spending time with the people he loved, Raymond embraced life fully and unapologetically.

Raymond attended high school in Loveland and Westminster Colorado where he connected with many of his good friends, and he was baptized at LifePointe Church in Ft. Collins.

One of his greatest joys was spending time with his girlfriend, Alannah. Together, they shared countless inside jokes, cuddles, and a love that was always and forever. Raymond cherished every moment they spent together, and their bond was a bright light in his life. He leaves Alannah with their rabbit, Zoomie, and their tortoise, Beterman, and was extremely proud of the family they created together.

Additionally, he spent much of his time at Smashburger where he has worked as a General Manager. Working there since 2020, Raymond dedicated his energy to working hard, passing audits, keeping a clean restaurant and having pristine employees on his team. He was the most dedicated boss, friend, and coworker and would do anything for the friends he came into contact with.  He had large plans to excel in the company, and someday grow to be the owner of a Smashburger of his own.

During his free time, you could find Raymond playing video games, napping, spending extreme amounts of time in the shower, traveling, and hanging out with his friends and family. But overall, if you knew Raymond you knew you would find him dabbing in his free time.

Ray will be remembered for his warmth, his loyalty, and his strive for excellence. His drive to make everyone in any room laugh and the light he carried with him everywhere he went will be missed. His presence is a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt. Ray leaves behind his mother, Jennifer Lynn Coffee and father, John Caterino Salazar, his beloved sister Katelynn Salazar (Nicholas Watson) and brothers Andrew Salazar (Rae Geisler), and Meteo Salazar Raymond., his long-time girlfriend Alannah Tye, grandfather, Juan Salazar and grandmothers Maira Martinez and Julie Coffee. His beloved nieces Sophia, Lillian, and Aria Watson, a list of uncles, cousins, extended family and so many friends.

He is preceded by his Grandfather Ron Coffee, Great-Grandmother, Molly and Great-Grandmother, Dorthy Patton, and his dear friend Logan Boehmer.

Raymond’s Homegoing Service will be held on June 23rd 2025 @ 11:00am. Followed by burial @ Broomfield County Commons Cemetery (12801 Sheridan Boulevard, Broomfield, CO 80020)

Location: Second Baptist Church Boulder.

5300 Baseline Road Boulder, CO 80303

There will be a repass to follow burial at Second Baptist Church with  food and refreshments for people to laugh and share memories of Ray.

Forever

is a long time

to miss someone

Especially when

their absence leaves

such a lasting mark

on your heart

They say time

heals all wounds

But some absences

create such deep scars

in our hearts, that

time moving forward

only seems to

deepen our longing

Yet in this ache

there is comfort in

the small things ~

old pictures,

a familiar scent,

a song …

a connection that

existed on earth and

now in Heaven

To miss someone forever

is to keep a part of them

alive within us ,

to hold onto who they were

and what they meant to us

As life moves forward

you learn to carry

them with you,

not only in your thoughts

but in who you are

And so life goes on

New memories are made ~

Yet that special

place in your heart

always remains theirs

Forever is a long time,

but it also a testament

to the ever lasting

power of love

Until we meet again …
