With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Rana, who left us far too soon. Born on September 28, 1960, on Long Island, New York, Rana lived a vibrant and determined life filled with love & resilience.
Rana began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, dedicating her early years to the care and comfort of others. In time, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to pursue and manage several businesses, but her most cherished and enduring role was that of a homemaker. She poured her heart into her children and tried to always strive to create a home full of love, strength, and warmth.
Rana was the proud mother of four children: Kristen, Patrick, Kiera, and Candace, and the grandmother to nine grandchildren: Joseph, Hope, Ace, Patrick, Trace, Mackenzie, Benjamin, Hailey, and Preston. She is survived by her loving siblings, brother Osman Ali and sister Kerrin, who will remember her fierce spirit.
Health-conscious and fitness-minded, Rana lived life with a strong will and unmatched beauty—both inside and out. She was known for her independence, determination, and yes, her stubborn streak, which only underscored her strength and passion for living life on her own terms.
Though her life was shorter than we hoped, Rana’s legacy of love, perseverance, and grace will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
