Nancy Lynn Goeken-Johnson was born in Pekin, Illinois, April 4, 1944, to Marion & Evelyn Goeken.
She moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1985 and lived there until the family moved to the Denver metro area in 2016.
The duration of her working career was surrounded by caring for others in one capacity or another from home daycares, to medical offices, and private duty caring for the elderly.
She will always be remembered for her quirky humor and her ability to laugh herself to tears.
She dedicated herself to raising her children and fostering pets. She especially had a love for dogs and they loved her as well.
She is survived by her sister & brother-in-law, Rebecca & James Smith of Pekin, IL, as well as her children; Kimberly Johnson, of Westminster, CO, Patricia (Scott) Thirion of Thornton, CO, and their children Chloe, Rhett, & Lilly; Jacob Johnson (Theressa Levett) of St. Johns, MI, and their children Saige & Autumn.
