Remembering Molly Happs: Molly Happs, a lifelong Coloradan with a bright and generous spirit, passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 43. 

Born in Boulder and raised in Lafayette, Colorado, Molly developed into a bright, caring, and outgoing young lady. To know Molly was to read her like an open book; she wore her heart on her sleeve and lived her life guided by a deep spirituality and an innate kindness. She was the kind of person who would go completely out of her way to take care of a neighbor or anyone who needed it most, always finding someone to take under her wing.  Molly's helpful hand was felt throughout her community—whether she was assisting neighbors or volunteering at her son’s school.

Of all the roles Molly played, nothing compared to being a mother. Her son, Luca, was the absolute light of her life and her greatest source of pride. Her helping hand could always be felt in her son’s baseball community, where she passionately supported Luca in his sport and did whatever it took to help the entire team along. Everything she did was driven by her profound love for him.

Molly was fiercely loyal to her friends, acting as a protector and a constant anchor for those lucky enough to be in her circle. Her beautiful, giving spirit will undoubtedly live on through her son and the countless lives she touched.

Molly is survived by her son, Luca; her father, John; her brother, Jake; and a cherished circle of friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Penny.

A memorial service will held on Tuesday, July 14th, at 10:00 a.m. at Life.Church in Thornton, 13470 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80241. A potluck-style reception will be held at Willow Bend Park following the service. Bringing a chair and a dish to share is encouraged.
