Mike, a man who truly lived life to the fullest, passed away peacefully with his wife at his bedside, on March the 11th 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of adventure, passion, and a love for connecting with people.
Mike began his career as a corporate pilot, a profession that took him across the world, including a memorable year spent in Saudi Arabia. His love for the skies was matched only by his love for the sea. After his time as a pilot, Mike spent 15 years as an adventurous sailboat captain, cruising the Caribbean Islands aboard his 45-foot ketch with Barbara.
Known for his warm, engaging nature, Mike could strike up a conversation with anyone. Whether on the deck of his boat or at a local café, he was always ready to share a story and make a new friend.
Though his health was impacted by Parkinson's disease in recent years, Mike's spirit remained undaunted. He faced the challenges with courage and a smile, always with his devoted wife Barbara who was from Barbados, supporting him through every step.
Mike’s love for life, his passion for exploration, and his genuine kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, and many friends and family who will forever cherish his memory.
