Maureen Teresa Goyette, age 69, of Colorado, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with dementia. A beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished sister, Maureen was surrounded by love throughout her life, and especially in her final days.

Born on December 18, 1955, in Marshall, Minnesota, Maureen grew up in a warm and bustling home with two brothers and three sisters. Her Midwestern upbringing shaped her kind heart, cheerful personality, and deep devotion to family — qualities that defined her throughout her life.

Maureen later made her home in Colorado, where she built a life full of love and care alongside her devoted husband, Paul Goyette. Together, they raised three children — Stephany, Marissa, and JonPaul — who were the center of her world. As a mother, Maureen was endlessly supportive, compassionate, and present. She was always there when her children needed her, with open arms and a smile that could light up any room.

She had a bubbly spirit, a joyful laugh, and an ever-present smile. Maureen had a special way of making people feel welcome and loved. Whether it was through her home-cooked meals, playful jokes, or the way she lit up at family gatherings, she brought comfort and happiness to everyone around her.

She lived a simple, meaningful life — tending to her family, caring for her husband, and spreading kindness wherever she went. She enjoyed cooking, doing puzzles, and spending time with loved ones, especially over dinners filled with laughter and connection.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Stephany, Marissa, and JonPaul; her siblings; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A private celebration of Maureen’s life will be held with close family and friends. In her memory, the family invites you to share a meal with those you love, laugh a little more, and cherish the simple, beautiful moments — just as Maureen always did.
