It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother Mary Ann Kalbasz on July 24, 2024. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 26,1931. She passed peacefully at the age of 92 when the Lord came to take her home!
Mom married Walter J Kalbasz of West Allis, Wi. They had 5 children together. She was a United States Air Force wife for 20 years! Being in the service, the family moved around a lot through Europe and the U.S. Mom showed her resilience each time that happened. She always made sure us kids felt secure, safe and loved with each move! She was like that throughout her life. That was her personality and a true gift from God!
Mom is survived by her daughters Christine Nugent, Theresa McMillen and son Carl Kalbasz. She’s also survived by 4 grandchildren, Gary, Kristi, Chad and Adam. She had 3 great grandchildren, Alexzandrea, Madison and Dayton and 2 great great grandchildren, Charli and Cash. Mom is also survived by her sister-in-law Margie, along with her many nieces and nephews in Wisconsin and throughout the U.S. She will be missed dearly!
Mom is preceded in her passing by husband Walter J. Kalbasz, sons Dennis and Michael Kalbasz of Colorado and her brother Michael Sparapane of Wisconsin.
The family is having a private service on August 18, 2024 at home. We’re calling it “Mom’s Gathering.” God bless to all!
