Martha “Sheila” Roberts

Martha Johnson Roberts known by most as Shelia passed away September 18th, 2021, with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Herman and Clarice Johnson on August 12th, 1946 in Fyrish Village, Corentyne Berbice, Guyana.

She was married to Conrad Roberts. Her previous marriage was to William Porter, who still lives. Martha is survived by nine children: Colleen Hessah, Andrew Porter, June Porter, Julius Porter, Debby Porter, Troy Porter, Jacesion Porter, Noel Johnson, and Yolanda Ault-Chan, She is also survived  two sisters Jean McDonald and Pamela Sepio  and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Martha was a professional Chef and Baker, she worked 20 plus years as the head Chef at the University of Guyana. She passed her love of cooking and baking to all her children. Martha was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind beautiful memories.

Throughout  the years Mom expressed she wants her Service/funeral to be a joyous occasion no black attires, we will try to honor your wishes Mom with our colorful ensembles the best we can. 
 

A service for immediate family will be held on Saturday, September 25th at 2pm MST.
