Marilyn Sisneros Obituary

In Loving Memory of Marilyn Delores “Nan” Sisneros

September 27, 1935– July 6, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Marilyn Delores  Sisneros, affectionately known to all as Nan. Surrounded by the love of her family, Marilyn passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering devotion, compassion, and strength.

Born on September 27, 1935 Marilyn lived a life rooted in love and family. She was the cherished wife of Joe Sisneros, lovingly known as Pop, and together they built a beautiful life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family. Marilyn and Joe were the proud parents of three sons: Michael, Darryl, and Derron, each of whom carry her kindness, resilience, and deep love in their hearts.

Marilyn also lovingly raised four sons from a previous marriage: Bill, who preceded her in death, David, Steven, and Jimmy, who survive her. Her love for all of her children was limitless and enduring.

Nan was the proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many, and her home was always filled with the sounds of giggles, the smell of home-cooked meals, and the feeling of unconditional love. She was the heart of every family gathering, the keeper of stories, and the comfort in every storm.

Marilyn was a devoted wife, a fiercely loving mother, a nurturing grandmother, and a loyal friend. Her faith in her family never wavered. She taught us the importance of kindness, the value of hard work, and the unshakable strength of love. She gave everything she had to those she loved and asked for nothing in return.

Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing Nan’s legacy lives on in the family she so deeply cherished. Her memory will continue to guide us, comfort us, and inspire us every day.

A private service will be held with close family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to St. Jude in her name. Please hold your loved ones close and carry forward the love that Nan so freely gave to her friends and family.

Forever in our hearts, always in our memories — we love you, Nan.
