Lloyd “Bill” Cashman Obituary

Lloyd William “Bill” Cashman III, lived his adult life in Denver.

His first love was cars, and his first muscle car was a burgundy ’64 Impala SS, with an engine so loud that his mother refused to ride in it. His second car was a blue ‘68 Camaro 427 SS (450 hp). Bill had the good judgment to refuse his father’s requests to drive that car! His first job was at a Skelly’s filling station in Mission, Kansas, and he retired after many years of work as a diesel mechanic with RTD.

After retiring, he traveled to many exotic places in the Americas (as long as it was to an all-inclusive resort) with his surviving longtime partner Jackie Ochoa.

With his ex-wife Kerry, Bill had three daughters: Corie (Shawn) Wade; Jodi (Curtis) Dodson, both of Denver; and Heather (Chonsey) Kibble of N. Richland Hills, Texas. “Papa Bill” also left behind 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents L.W. and Dolores Cashman, and is survived by his brother Kurt and sister Barb. He will be missed by all of us.
