Lillian Jessie Torrez

Lillian Jessie Torrez, age 88, passed away in Northglenn, Colorado on October, 5 2023.

Born on August 13, 1935 in Amalia, New Mexico; daughter of Father Jose Alejandro Ortega and Mother Florentina T, Ortega (Tellez).

Lillian grew up in Amalia, New Mexico until she was 22 years of age, then lived the majority of her life within Colorado while making frequent trips to California. Lillian worked very hard throughout the years in house-keeping, restaurants, clerical, customer service and lastly retail, which she retired from in her 60’s. Lillian was a loving and caring soul and there was nothing that she would not do for her family.

Lillian Jessie Torrez is survived by her Sister Evangelina S. Leyba (Ortega) Daughter Teresa Lobato (Torrez), Son Richard Torrez, Daughter Millie Torrez (Spouse Dee Reda), and Son Frank Torrez (Spouse Michele Torrez (Miskey)). Grand-Daughter’s Michelle, Erica, and Jenae. Grand-Sons Jimmy and Frank Jr. Great Grand-Daughters Sarah, Leah, Nadalina, and Bobby Marie. Great Gran-Sons Alex, Jayden and Robert. Great Great Grand-Daughter Anastie and many Cousins, Nieces and Nephew’s.

Lillian Jessie Torrez was preceded in death by her Father Jose Alejandro Ortega, Mother Florentina T, Ortega (Tellez), Brother Oligario Ortega, Brother Sipriano Ortega, Sister Alice J. Martinez (Ortega), Sister Sara Ortega, Brother George J. Ortega, Fred G. Ortega and Great Grand-Son Diego J. Gonzales Vigil.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., November 4, 2023, following The Celebration of Life until 3:30 p.m. and located at Westview Recreation Center, 10747 West 108th Avenue, Westminster, Co. 80021.
