Leopold Dreiling Obituary

Leopold (Leo) Joseph Dreiling was a light in everyone’s life. He was a Colorado Native, born and raised in Denver, CO. He died unexpectedly on January 11, 2023, at the age of 21 from a tragic work-related accident.
Leopold (Leo) was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital on November 30, 2001, to Jason and Hollie Dreiling. He graduated from Westminster High School in 2020 and went directly to work at a local pharmaceutical manufacturer as a Chemical Operator.
Leopold (Leo) was an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and always lived life to the fullest. Recently, he was able to travel to Ireland with some of his closest friends and made many memories and new friends. He was always the life of the party, and everyone has a special story about Leo and how he brought laughter to the situation. There was one night where Leo, Alyssa, Ashley, and Darius drove around to look at Christmas lights and Darius and Leo had to get out of the car at every house they found with a basketball hoop and go dunk on it and dash back to the car as fast as they could.
Leopold (Leo) had many passions. He loved fishing, sports, cars, and caffeine. On many occasions he traveled on a whim to his grandparents’ cabin in South Dakota to go fishing for the weekend and had to sit on the porch when it was cold until they got up. From a young age, Leopold (Leo) played Baseball, Basketball, Rugby, and Football, with a special place in his heart for football. He was supposed to go to South Dakota School Mines to play football but decided to start his career as a Chemical Operator instead. Always looking for new passions, recently, Leopold (Leo) purchased a 1977 Chevy Pickup to restore.
Leopold’s (Leo) personality brought joy to the room. He always had a joke (even though they didn’t always make sense) that would make everyone laugh. He enjoyed “picking and poking” at all those around him, always ending with a laugh. There isn’t a person that met Leo that can say he hadn’t made them laugh at least once.
Leopold (Leo) touched everyone he met and will be deeply missed by all his family, friends, and co-workers. He is survived by his parents Jason and Hollie Dreiling, siblings; Alyssa Dreiling (sister) and Aurelius Dreiling (brother), grandparents; Dan Drayer, Marybeth Gray, Terrence Dreiling, Teresa Dreiling, as well as; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
