Lee Vollmer Obituary

Lee was born February 21, 1939, in Overton, NE to Harley and Pearl (Bowden) Vollmer. He grew up in Eddyville, NE and graduated from Eddyville High School, class of 1956, before serving in the United States Army from 1959-1961.


Lee married Judith McGeorge in 1966 and they had two sons Scott (1969) and Brad (1971).


Lee enjoyed playing sports and was an avid golfer.  He owned and operated the Dutch Mill Donut shop for 10 years in Longmont.


Lee is preceded in death by his parents and brother Harold.  He is survived by his sister Donna (Jerry) Whittaker, his two sons, daughter-in-law Desiree, and three grandchildren; Shonte, Chanelle and Shay.


A Military Committal Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on August 9th, 2024 at 09:00 am (please arrive no later than 08:45 am) Staging Area and Map will be posted here just as soon as it becomes available (by Wednesday.)
