On October 3, 2024 Larry Joseph (Joe) Conway passed away at home peacefully from natural causes. Joe was born in Craig Colorado to Roscoe and Eula Fae Conway July 14, 1932, the youngest of four children. He grew up in northwestern Colorado and eastern Texas, working on his father’s ranch and graduating from Moffat County High School in 1951. He was drafted into the Army artillery corps and served in Germany. He attended DU, OSU and CU and then worked for Continental Oil, INA Insurance and as an expert for legal insurance cases. He was an avid reader and loved fly fishing and spending time outdoors with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife Dolores O’Neil, stepdaughter Karen (Tom) Alexander, loving step-granddaughters, step-great-granddaughters, their spouses and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by all for his kind, caring and generous love.
Private services will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
