Kim P. Sullivan, 66, of Broomfield, Colorado (formerly of Marshall, Minnesota), passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2020. Kim was born on October 14, 1954 in Marshall, MN to M. Patrick Sullivan and Shirley (Johnson) Sullivan. Kim graduated from Marshall High School and Southwest Minnesota State University. Kim was a Buyer at NBI and StorageTek for many years and later worked in various security jobs. Kim married the love of his life, Patricia "Patty" Cafferty, on February 26, 2005.
Kim’s life was centered on faith, family, and friends. Kim was a long time member of Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church in Broomfield, Colorado. Kim enjoyed spending time with family such as neighborhood walks with his wife Patty, weekly grocery shops and visits with sisters Tami and Maureen, outings with his many nieces and nephews, and traveling to Minnesota to spend time with sisters Valerie, Sandy, and brother Joel. Kim was a loyal Vikings fan, and also enjoyed reading.
Kim is survived by his wife, Patty Sullivan; siblings, Valerie Schrum, Sandra (Douglas) Hess, Tamera Rewerts, Maureen (Paul) Goyette, Joel (Elizabeth) Sullivan; nieces and nephews, Jason Schrum, Shaina (Zac) Vekich; Nathan, Matthew, Taylor Hess; Michael (Jessica), Daniel (Richelle), Christopher Rewerts; Stephany, Marissa, Jon Paul Goyette; Harry Sullivan; and many great nieces, nephews and other relatives. Kim was preceded in death by his parents.
A Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 8th, 2020 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Broomfield, Colorado. Kim's urn will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Broomfield, Colorado following the ceremony.
