Khristo Kapatayes, 68, of Broomfield passed away on September 28th, 2023. Khristo was born on October 22nd, 1954 in Amman, Jordan to Michel and Nuha Kapatayes. He moved to the United States of America in the early 1980s to pursue better opportunities. In 1988, he married Josephine (Koro) Kapatayes and during their marriage they had two children, Christin and Michael Kapatayes, of which Khristo was very proud of. He loved watching basketball games with his children and never missed an opportunity to watch his favorite team play. He was also immersed in global history and enjoyed sharing knowledge about the world. 

He is survived by his ex-wife, Josephine Kapatayes; his children, Christin and Michael Kapatayes; and his siblings Peter Kapatayes, Keity Elias, and Gaby Kapatayes.

The funeral service was held at St. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church on October 6th, 2023. Khristo was laid to rest at Broomfield Commons Cemetery.
