Kevin passed away on June 16, 2022, at age 49 after years of struggling with his mental health. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Vasu, younger brother Nickolas Vasu, Sister-in-law, Aprille Vasu, nephews Xander and Max as well as nieces, Bailey and Miya. His other younger brother, Joshua Vasu, sister-in-law, Lauren Vasu and niece Brooklyn. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Vasu.
He was born on Sept 8, 1972, to Patricia and George Vasu in Colorado Springs and lived there until he was 17. He attended Palmer High School and graduated from Northglenn High School in 1991. He also attended Voc Tech School during high school.
After years working in the automotive windshield industry, he decided to start his own business specializing in windshield repair, Bullzeye windshield repair. He was the proud owner and operator of Bullzeye windshield repair for over 15 years.
In 2012, Kevin fulfilled his dream of home ownership and purchased his first home near reunion in Commerce City, CO. He recently completed a remodel at his home and was proud of the updates.
He was an avid Avalanche fan and never missed watching a game. He enjoyed NASCAR and watched many races. He even got to drive a NASCAR car with brother, Josh. He enjoyed everything automotive, including driving race cars and attending car shows with his brothers and nephew.
He loved the Colorado mountains and 4 wheeling in his Chevy Blazer. He attended many events at Bandimere Raceway, including his favorite event, Truck Fest.
Kevin’s pride and joy was his Honda Fury motorcycle. He felt the most happiness when he was out riding his bike through the beautiful state of Colorado. He participated in freedom rides with friends whenever he got the chance.
He enjoyed weekly meals with his mother, where he often suggested they eat at Black Eyed Pea where he always ordered the Brisket.
Kevin loved to celebrate at family events like birthday parties for his nieces and nephews. Kevin was always a man of his word and once he made a commitment, he was sure to stick to it.
Kevin was loved by many. He will be missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 25th at 10:30 a.m. at Stonebrook Manor in Thornton with a lunch reception and reflection of memories to follow. Due to the somber nature of Kevin's Memorial, we ask that children not be in attendance at this event. Please call the funeral home if you need further clarification. 303-997-6667, option 1.
