Julie Ann Wright was born in Salt Lake City to her parents Vernon Frank Parry and Roma Parkinson Larson. Julie grew up in Golden, Colorado and lived in Mount Vernon near the top of Lookout Mountain. She graduated from Saint Mary's Academy in Denver and attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
Julie married Clinton Thaxter Wright in May 1949. Clint was working as a station manager for Frontier Airlines and they lived in Gunnison and Grand Junction, Colorado and eventually moved to Pasadena, California. In 1954 they built their house in Applewood, Colorado and Julie lived there until 2019. Julie spent her last year living at the Golden Pond retirement community in Golden, Colorado.
Julie was a caring and loving wife and mother and a wonderful homemaker. As an active Coloradian she enjoyed skiing, tennis and golf and her many friends.
Julie is survived by her son, Jeffrey Clinton Wright who lives in Arvada, Colorado and her grandson, Ian Reid Wright who lives in Portland, Oregon.
