Judith Mary Reinhardt peacefully passed away September 4, 2025. She was born to WIlliam and Ann Adler in Pittsburgh, PA and carried that accent with her proudly for the 80 years of her life.
In 1963 she married the love of her life, Bob Reinhardt Sr. and together they moved to Montana to continue the adventures they shared to the fullest. They shared a love of drag racing, dancing, their dogs, and raising their son. As this life passed along she took great pride in watching her son carry on his father’s love of drag racing and her granddaughter follow in her love of dogs in her veterinary career.
She worked as a sales associate, a bookkeeper for her husband’s business, and for a computer company. She was a member of the American Legion and the Rocky Mountain Wolfhound Association.
She enjoyed playing cards with friends, attending her son’s football and baseball games and her husband’s softball games. Her yard was known well for the flowers and plants that she grew with the greenest of green thumbs. Her flowers won ribbons at the county fair and adorned many a table for those she shared them with. Once growing season ended, she excitedly pulled out her outdoor Halloween decorations soon to be followed by her Christmas decorations. Her yard was always filled with color and lights! She loved hearing the ooohs and aaahs as people walked or drove by to admire her yard no matter the season. Her creativity also showed through in her arts and crafts that she poured her heart into. She sold these online, at craft fairs, and to family and friends. Her creativity was endless along with her sassy sense of humor.
Her main hobby in life was showing her beloved Irish Wolfhounds. She traveled the USA and Canada with friends and dogs, winning many awards with her “Wolfies” in both breed and obedience. Along the way she gained life long friends and always had stories to tell of their adventures. In her latter years, her family moved her to Colorado to be closer to them so they could more closely care for her. Here she found the last place she called home and spent many hours laughing with not only her friends there but also those that cared for her. She came to deeply love this little community.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sue(Carolyn) Reinhardt, her granddaughter and her husband, Alyx and Errick Tracy, her brothers Don and Ron and their families, as well as many family and friends across the country. She is preceded in death by her parents WIlliam and Ann, her beloved husband Bob, a brother Bill and a sister Lolly.
She would love you to dance the jitterbug, plant a flower in your garden, make a donation to an animal rescue, or give a dog a treat in her memory.
