Judith K. Hynes

Judy (Denver, CO) was born on September 23rd, 1950 to Isabelle and Joseph Ribar. She had two older brothers, Ron (deceased) and Rich. She met our father, John Hynes (deceased) and they were wed on September 12, 1970.  Together they had two daughters, Jaime and Lauren. Jaime also had a daughter of her own named Isabelle and is the only grandchild of Judy and John.  

Judy was a hairdresser by trade for many years, and loved gardening.  She couldn’t wait to start to buy her flowers in the spring.  She was a softball coach for a few years alongside our dad, and was always super creative and artistic. She also was an animal lover and especially loved her toy poodles! She loved playing video games and watching CNN and the Hallmark channel.

She was absolutely devastated when Dad passed away in 2008.  Our mother has had numerous heart related ailments over the years, and was hospitalized over several times over the years including this last February, after sustaining a bad fall at home.  Numerous medical conditions started accumulating against her, and eventually she went into cardiac arrest on February 24th while on the way to undergo a routine test.  Mom fought bravely until the end, until Dad called her home on Sunday afternoon.  

Because of Covid restrictions, there will be a small viewing of mom this Wednesday (March 3rd, 2021) for immediate family only, followed by inurnment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on March 19th at 11:30 a.m. (again only for immediate family due to Covid gathering restrictions). Her Celebration of Life Memorial will be held later in the spring, when flowers are blooming and the sun is shining. Mom always loved Spring.  Details are pending, please check this page for details as they become available.

We’ll miss you so much Mom, more than you’ll ever know.  We love you so so much. ❤️
