Joyce Aranda

Joyce Ann Aranda, Age 78, Arvada, Colorado, passed away on February 12, 2020

Joyce was born September 27, 1941, as the third child to George and Helen Johns in Great Bend, Kansas. Having lived most of her life in the Denver area, she attended Manual High School, and worked many years as a Delicatessen Manager for Safeway Grocery Stores. 

The most significant things in Joyce’s life were her devotion to her Faith, Family, Friends, and the Denver Broncos. She had four children, Michael Johns (Terry), Arvada, CO, Robin Trujillo (Dave), Thornton, CO, Dawn Aranda, who proceeded her in death, and Maurice Aranda (Michelle), Brighton, CO. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Johnny, Ryan, Jaimee, Brandon, and Aaron. Additionally, she has four great grandchildren; Hailey, Ethan, Levi, and Harper. 

She was a kind and selfless individual who possessed an unending dedication to those she loved, particularly her grandchildren. Her faith in God, morality,  work ethic, listening ear, sense of humor, and humility were her greatest attributes and she will be forever missed.
