Jason Eugene Tomlinson Obituary

Born August 7th, 1968 at 5:00 AM in Seoul, South Korea

Married to Nicolle Marie Tomlinson (Towt) 10/5/1991

Died November 20th, 2023 at 9:30 AM in Denver, Colorado

Jason was born to Jerry L. Tomlinson and Karen K. Tomlinson (Davidson) on a military base in Seoul, South Korea on August 7th, 1968. With his father’s Marine Corp service Jason grew up over the years and had the opportunity to live in Korea, Virginia, Okinawa Japan, North Carolina, Texas, California, and Colorado several times where he ultimately settled in 2005. Jason always had an interest in technology and worked in IT throughout his life. His passion for helping others as technology expanded was well known and he was seen as a leader in all his various positions. Over his life he worked for a number of prominent companies such as Sony, Qualcomm, Xylinx, and most recently at Situs AMC.

Jason enjoyed computers on his off time just as much as he did for work. He played video games by himself and with many online friends over the years. Some of his favorite titles included: Age of Conan, Power Wash Simulator, No Man’s Sky, The Zelda Franchise, Warframe, Bloons TD, New World, Secret World, No Creeps Were Harmed TD, Lonely Mountains: Downhill, FORZA, and many more. In his free time, Jason loved to make computers for people and created them just to the specifications for that specific person. He rarely, if ever, asked for payment when he created these personalized PC’s, he just wanted to see people enjoy technology. Beyond games and technology, Jason was a voracious reader (albeit audio) and was constantly suggesting new titles to his friends and family.

Jason lives on through his wife Nicolle, only daughter Zoey, brothers Ken and James, nephews Nick and Scott, his co-workers/employees at AMC, his beloved cats (Larry, Nibbler, and Squirrel), his extended family, and everyone who has been impacted by his wit and intellect. Jason is preceded in death by Karen K. Tomlinson (mother) and Jerry L. Tomlinson (father).

A celebration of life will be held in January to honor Jason. Details will be sent out to loved ones personally.

The family asks you to not send flowers or plants, if you want to honor Jason, we ask that you make a donation to the Longmont Humane Society where Jason and the family have adopted all of their cats. You could even adopt a new friend in his memory. Jason loved his cats dearly and always had them surrounding him as he worked and gamed. You can find the Longmont Humane Society at https://www.longmonthumane.org
