James had a zest for life, pursuing his favorite hobbies with great enthusiasm. He was an avid Nascar fan, finding joy in the speed and excitement of the races. When he wasn't cheering on his favorite drivers, he could be found listening to music or taking long drives in his truck, accompanied by his faithful dog. James had a talent for spinning captivating tales, and he loved sharing his stories with anyone who would lend an ear. But above all, his greatest passion was his family. He cherished his wife, children, and grandkids, finding immense joy in their presence.

When it came to food, James loved nothing more than a classic burger and fries. He found solace in fishing at Beaver Lakes in Leadville, considering it his favorite place in the world.
James was a dedicated detective by profession, and his career achievements were a source of pride for him. However, his proudest accomplishments and contributions extended beyond his professional success. His unwavering love and support for his family made a lasting impact on their lives.
