Hope Marie Valdez Obituary

Our beloved, amazing, heartfelt and caring mother, Hope Marie Valdez passed away on April 28, 2026 at the beautiful age of 95

Hope Marie Valdez was a very special gift from God. Our mother Hope was born on December 12, 1930 in Greeley Colorado.  She is the daughter of Bencia and Ralph Martinez, along with 5 brothers and 6 sisters.

Hope Marie Valdez is the mother of Elizabeth, Joe, Katherine, Richard, Robert and little Hope.  She has 6 grandchildren; Yvette, Lawrence, Rebecca, Beverly, Natasha and Joshua, along with 9 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.   She was also loved by her daughter in-law Shirley, And Son in-laws; Steve and Don.

One of the greatest gifts our mother gave was her unconditional love to everyone who knew her.  She was the joy of our lives and taught us to always love one another and to never judge.

Our mother loved to listen to her audio bible and go to church, she attended the Crossing Church and loved the music and Gods message.  When she heard our music director, Nikki, sing for the first time in church and cried, she told me she had a voice of an angel.

Our mother would say cleanliness is next to godliness.  She was always cleaning and she loved to dress up and look her best, she always wanted to have the best hairstyle and beautiful nails.   I called her my little Diva Mother.

Mom, our hearts are so broken that you are gone from this earth, but we know you are in the arms our Lord and Savior Jesus.  Please rest and watch over us.  Thank you for being the most amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  You have touched our hearts in so many ways and your love will continue to live on within our hearts.   Rest in peace our beautiful and precious mother.  Were all missing you so much (tears)……

A Mothers Worry

No matter how old you get, a mother will aways worry about you. She will wait for your call, she will pray for your safety, and she will always hope you are okay. Even if you are far away, she is always keeping you in her heart. Because to a mother, you will always be her little child.  A mother’s lover never fades

If I could Borrow My Mom……..Just For A Moment

God…..

If I could have her back, even for a little while…

I wouldn’t ask for anything big.

Just one more hug.

One more “Are you okay?”

One more moment to hear her voice.

I’d say the things I thought I had more time to say….

“I’m sorry for the times I didn’t understand you”

“Thank you for loving me the way only you could”

Because when she was here,

I really believed there would always be a tomorrow.

But now…. It’s the memories, the quiet moments,

And a heart that still reaches for her every single day.

If I could borrow her for just a moment, I wouldn’t waste a second.

I’d hold her close and say----

“Mom…. thank you for everything.

I love you more than words every showed”

Gods Word

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever Believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Love you mom and you will be missed but will always be in our heart

A memorial service will be held at a later date and posted on this page.
