Gary Stewart Howie Obituary

Gary passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Born on May 31, 1938.  He is survived by his wife Margaret of 66 years. Additionally, he is survived by daughter Susan Hawkins and her husband, Mark, Sister Debra Prieb, four grandchildren, Sara Hawkins, Sasha, Arielle, and Nicholas Merelli, and his son-in-law Ted Merelli, and three great grandchildren Sebastian, Axel and Ashlynn. Daughter Stacy Merelli and brothers Bill and Jon preceded him in death.


Gary enjoyed horse activities with his daughters and camping with his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed traveling to Arizona and the Oregon coast. 


He is dearly missed.
