Born June 19,1944 to Vivian and Oral (Pete) Alberts in Denver Colorado.  Gary passed away at his home April 30, 2024. Gary was a loving and dedicated father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Gary is survived by his daughters Kimberly Alberts and Shelly Ibarra,  his granddaughter Adaliah Alberts, Chante Alberts, Shaddaiah Lavato, Bethany Ibarra, Mariah Ibarra, and Hanna-Grace Ibarra, great granddaughters, Gigi Alberts, Graelyn Lavato and Avalyn Ibarra.  He is also survived by his sister his sister Paula Henningsen and brother Ron Alberts.  As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary grew up in Golden Colorado and graduated from Lakewood High School in 1962.  He served our country for 4 years in the US Navy (1963-1967) before returning to Colorado to live out the rest of his life with his family.

Gary’s loving nature and dedication to is family were admirable.

He will be missed.

Services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10:00 am.

There will be a celebration of life immediately following the ceremony at the Old Chicago at 3550 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood.
