Gabriel (Lino) Marcello Santoro, 55, of Arvada, Colorado passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022. Lino was born in Chicago, IL on October 5, 1966 to Joseph and Grace Santoro. He met his wife, Kim (Legno) Santoro in Chicago, and they married on May 20, 2008. Lino has two loving daughters, Alex (Ken) McCaughin and Sydney Santoro.
Lino’s family describes him as a fun-loving, always smiling, caring individual who adored his wife, loved time with his daughters and granddaughter, engaging with friends and family & traveling. Lino was a gun collector, enjoyed anything outdoors, including scuba diving, kayaking, & hiking. He loved his work- he spent the last 15 years working at Viega which he considered his 2nd family. Lino also served his country in the Armed Forces.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 14 years, Kim; daughters Alex (Ken) McCaughin and Sydney Santoro; Granddaughter Mae McCaughin; his mother Grace Santoro; his sister Antoinette (John) DeAstis, brother Nick (Angela) Santoro, and his sister Lisa (Patrick) Barch. He was a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews who will also miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Santoro.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 22nd at 10:30am with a Memorial Mass at 10:45am, at St. Isidore church, 427 W. Army Trail Road in Bloomingdale, IL.
