Evelyn Mae Stewart, 78, of Longmont passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, at the hospital. Born on February 7, 1947, in Igloo, South Dakota, Evelyn was the daughter of Charles Corey (deceased) and Irene Corey.

Evelyn was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two brothers, Mike Corey(Chris) and Ron Corey (Leslie). Evelyn's legacy continues through her children: Sherry Trusty (Sean, deceased) and Jeff Corey (Dawn). She cherished her role as a grandmother to Chris, Tyler, Tawny, Carter, and Alex, as well as her two great-grandchildren, Kaidenn and Ezra.

Evelyn had a passion for life that included her love for watching old westerns, reminiscing about her days at work, and enjoying the sport of bowling. She also enjoyed driving race cars and was one of the first woman drivers speedway Her vibrant spirit and affectionate nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family will honor her memory with a private celebration of life at a later date.
