Donna J. Seigneur

Donna Jean Slayman Seigneur, 92, passed away January 18, 2023 in Littleton, CO. Donna was born September 6, 1930 in Canton, OH. Her parents were Lucille R. Drage Slayman and Joseph A. Slayman. 

Donna married Leslie Seigneur in 1951 just prior to his commission into the Air Force. Their first home was at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio where their first two children, Randy and Lanny, were born. During Leslie’s 27+ year military career, they were stationed in Ohio, Washington, where Renee was born, New York, Idaho, where Les was born, Maryland, New Mexico, Maryland again, and finally Hawaii. 

Through all the moves and transitions, Donna stoically and patiently supported Leslie during his successful and demanding career while raising their four children. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. Donna and Leslie retired in 1978 to Rogers, AR, where they enjoyed the peace of rural life on Beaver Lake. Donna was deeply devoted to family and was a great collector of family pictures, records, and memorabilia. She lived in Rogers until 2017 when she moved to Littleton, CO to live with Lanny and Anita. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie J. Seigneur (1998); her daughter, Renee L. Seigneur (2018); her brother, Joseph A. Slayman, Jr. (2013); and her sister-in-law, Ruby J. Slayman (2006). Donna is survived by her children Randall (Randy) L. Seigneur of Eagle River, Alaska; Lanny R. (Anita) Seigneur of Littleton, CO; and Leslie G. Seigneur (Ruby Lord) of Fayetteville, AR; her grandson, James (Jake)  L. (Angelina) Seigneur of Eagle River, AK; and her great-grand children, Lauren and Layla Seigneur, of Eagle River, AK. A memorial service will be held in Winameg, Ohio. Date to be announced.
