Donna Jean Jeffreys

Donna Jean Rusher Jeffreys, 83, passed away in Arvada, Colorado on November 2, 2022.

Born January 14, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Orville Brooks Rusher and Margaret Bain Rusher. She moved to Manhattan, Kansas to attend Manhattan Bible College where she met and married Charles Samuel Jeffreys. Upon Charles’ graduation the family served churches in several small Kansas towns before settling in Wichita, Kansas.

The family moved to Arvada, Colorado in 1972 where they served the Arvada Christian Church for five years. Donna worked various part time jobs until she accepted a bookkeeping position for Eakers Department store. She was working for Melco Industries when she retired in 2004.

Donna is survived by her sons, Curtis Jeffreys, spouse Jacquie and son Zachary, and Dr. Timothy (Jeff) Jeffreys. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, William, Donald, and Norman and her sister Loretta Plunkett.
