With deepest sorrow and heavy heart, we announce that we have lost the light of our life, our precious Dante Nicolas Figueroa, lost his battle with severe grief and depression on January 6, 2026 at the age of 24.

Cherished and beloved son of Valeria Zanetti & late Louis M. Figueroa. Loving brother of Luis, doting Uncle D of Sebastian. Adored grandson, cousin, nephew, boyfriend of Alana K and friend to many.
Those who knew Dante, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Dante grew up in Westminster and Broomfield, Colorado, where he attended from Preschool to High School, he was an apprentice in Pipe Fitting at MTech, Dante loved holding  jobs as a cook, he lived his father’s greatest lesson:
"Whatever you do in life—no matter what it is—be the best you can be."

After losing his father 7 months ago, Dante fought to survive tormented thoughts of despair that
made him cry internally, and made him deeply, deeply sad.

We know Dante is now with his Heavenly Father, “Jesus”, his earthly Father, his Dad Lou, his Grandfather Armando, his beloved dogs Gigi & Lilly.
Dante is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

“Our lives have all been brighten,
because you have been there;
So, now we leave your memory,
In God’s all-loving care.”

His Celebration of life will be held on Friday January 23, 2026 at Flatirons Church, Main campus in Lafayette, Colorado.
Ceremony will begin at 10:00 am at the West End Entrance, followed by a reception.
