Charlene Augusta Green, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 16, 2024, in Arvada, Colorado, at the age of 82. Born on August 30, 1941, in Jefferson City, MO, Charlene spent her formative years there before embarking on a life filled with love and devotion to her family.

In Colorado, she found her soulmate, Donald, with whom she shared 61 years of cherished marriage. Charlene's life was enriched by her many passions, including gardening, sewing, crocheting, and immersing herself in the pages of a good book. Yet, above all, her greatest joy came from the love and company of her family and friends.

Charlene leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald; daughters Leslie Moore (Mitch) and Michelle Smart (Mike); grandsons Adam Smart (Jane), Nick Smart (Chelsey), and Sean Craft; 3 great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her three sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 12:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E McCarty St, Jefferson City, MO, with a memorial service at 1 p.m., followed by a reception at 3:30 p.m. at the American Legion at 1423 Tanner Bridge Rd.
