Cesario Anthony Rucobo Obituary

Cesario Rucobo, born to Peitro and Frances (Reyes) Rucobo on May 31, 1939, in Eaton, Colorado, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was raised in Galeton, Colorado, alongside his three brothers and four sisters: Peitro Rucobo Jr., Carmen Rucobo Bejarano (Paul Bejarano), Ben Rucobo (Romona), Rachel Rucobo, Joseph Rucobo, Elsie Rucobo Aragon (Pete Aragon), and Vicky Rucobo.

In November 1960, Cesario married the love of his life, Rita Garcia. Together, they lovingly raised four daughters and one son: Darla Schum (Tom Schum), Carla Sanchez (Richard Sanchez), Fran Rucobo, Karla Busteamnte, and Chad Garcia (Vanessa). He took pride in his 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

An avid sports enthusiast, Cesario participated in various sports, including basketball, baseball, football, softball, and golf. He was a die-hard supporter of Colorado sports teams and cherished his time as a longtime season ticket holder for the Denver Broncos. Cesario was well-known for his quick wit and remarkable sense of humor, bringing joy to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joseph, Ben, and Peitro, and sisters Carmen, Rachel, and Val. Cesario's legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
