Barbara Joan Gammill Obituary

Barbara Joan “Bobbie Jo” Palmer Gammill, age 80, passed away on August 4, 2025, Broomfield, Colorado. She was born on December 8, 1944, in Fruita, Colorado.


Bobbie lived a full life and had many unique life experiences. Bobbie was the youngest of three children. She married William (Bill) Gammill on December 30, 1960, in Fruita, Colorado and divorced on August 24, 1976. Eventually she met William (Bill) John Williams, and they were together for 36 years until Bill’s death in 2020.
Bobbie and Bill Williams operated B&B Radiator, Muffler and Auto Shop for many years in Broomfield, Colorado and later in her life worked at King Soopers, Walmart and Walgreens as a cashier. Bobbie enjoyed helping customers and spoke fondly of her coworkers at each of her places of employment. For many years she was a member of the Louisville Rod and Gun Club where she enjoyed the company of fellow members and great fishing.


Bobbie is survived by her sons (The Gammill Boys): Mike of Pauls Valley, OK; Scott (Linda) of Minneapolis, MN; Allen (Chanin) of Logan, UT; Mark (Ashlie) of Glenwood Springs, CO; Hans of Grand Junction, CO. She is also survived by her sister Billie Jo Cruzon of Eugene, OR and her brother John Palmer of Delta, CO. Bobbie is preceded in death by her son Richard David Gammill and her daughter Kathrine Jolene Gammill.
Her wishes in death are to be cremated and to join her babies’ graves in Fruita, Colorado.
A memorial service will be held later in Broomfield, Colorado for friends and family to remember and honor Bobbie’s life.
