Annette L Thompson will always be remembered for her great smile and infectious laugh. She was always ready to greet friends and family with a huge smile.
She was a secondary education English teacher that substituted in the Boulder/Metro Denver area in the 1970’s. Being an extremely creative writer she worked for several Boulder small newspapers selling advertising and entertainment listings. She also did various editing, writing and sales with other companies locally while working on a book about Annie Oakley. She continued in her field founding Boulder’s first resume writing service “The Copy Troubleshooter”.
Being an active member of the DAR for 12 years one of her delights and honor was to read the President’s monthly messages to her chapter. She was also very religious in her own right who prayed every day and was very dedicated.
She loved her family dearly and is survived by her sister Therese Spears, nephew Jesse Spears and great nephew Johnathan Spears. Annette also cared deeply for children and animals.
Annette's Memorial Mass will be held at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish located at 11385 Grant Dr Northglenn, CO 80233 August 5th at 11:00.
In her honor the family requests that instead of sending flowers, donations in Annette's memory be sent to The National Wildlife Federation or The Denver7 Pack A Backpack School Supply Drive.
