Annette linn grew up in Sheffield, Iowa. She was active in several high school activities, including being a Page at the capital in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from the University of Iowa, she taught elementary school for a year in Iowa, then went to Denver, Colorado, where she settled for life. For some reason, she liked Colorado better than Iowa. (hmmm… imagine that.?! ) She taught there until retirement (1997). After retirement she volunteered at the school as well as other venues. She maintained a close group of friends through bridge club and retired teachers’ dinners. Annette was always interested in politics and followed it closely. She was an avid reader. For many years, Annette enjoyed summers in Iowa with her parents. Her family and many friends will miss her.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ann Linn. She is survived by a brother, Jim (Mary ) and a sister, Rebecca (Galen), nieces Katherine (Jeff) and Rebecca (Mark), nephews Galen James (Kate) and Langdon (Kimberly), as well as 6 grand nieces and nephews. Her extended family include too many to count but all are loved.
